you don't have the basic understanding yet of how this all works. No offense, but you are not ready to do this. You also put simple web pages on your site by creating them and then uploading them via ftp etc.
You can put wordpress or phpbb or many other types of web based scripts or all of the above on your web site by simply using ftp to upload the relevant files and running the install scripts. Your "site" is your web space that you pay your hosting company for the use of. Phpbb is also a script/program that is installed on your "site". Wordpress is not a "site" it is a script/program that is installed on your "site". phpbb is never a wordpress plugin.Įven when you use wpunited, yu have to follow the instructions to get it to work. you just have to install it on the same server where your wordpress is installed. No you do not have to have a separate site.
