I read reviews for the same company in different locations and found more of the same. Yes, I went back and read some of the (5 star) reviews and a few of them mentioned that they spray the dogs if they're misbehaving. Tl dr - Puppy hated doggy daycare at Camp Bow Wow. Has anyone else had a bad doggy daycare experience, or specifically a bad Camp Bow Wow experience? Does it get better the more they go? Should I try this place again or just switch to another location? TIA. I still want to try another day care, but is what they did and how he seemed when we picked him up how things usually go the first few times? He's socialized with other dogs, but usually just a couple of dogs at a time. After that happened I'm pretty sure he went to the corner away from the camera and just laid there until I picked him up. I sent my puppy to doggy day care so he could learn how to play with other dogs from other dogs, not so that some woman could spray him in the face and scare him. Usually just one quick spray, but I swear I saw her spray my dog in the face a few times in a row but I couldn't tell what caused her to. I also saw the woman spray the dogs a few times. Obviously I don't expect them to cater to him, but I'd think they'd at least help him inside at some point. He was out there for at least 1 hour mostly alone. I didn't think much of it, but when I had a while to Watch the web cam I noticed that he was left in the outside area while the other dogs went inside because he couldn't figure out the door. Before I left they'd mentioned to me that George was confused by their doors because they were flaps that he's supposed to just push through. I watched him on the web cam when I could throughout the day. Ears back, looked scared, didn't want to walk and made us carry him to the car. When I picked him up a few hours later he was miserable. I took my 4.5 month old puppy to Camp Bow Wow doggy daycare. No illegal, unethical, or dangerous advice.
