Thinking that they had to agree their red lines between NetEase's monetization policy and Blizzard's monetization policy it only makes sense to think that Blizzard will keep its values due to the announcement by Allen Adham that "if you want to know what we think of monetization then look at our past". Blizzard values will be kept in the same way as Hearthstone and Overwatch. so they will probably explain which business model they chose and why it make sense for Diablo Immortal. They could talk about their future plans more clearly or maybe just explaining the game better with more details.Īs far as monetization i am pretty sure they would not want to silently commence their business plan and possibly get a backlash from it. Basically it's their next MMO so it wouldnt make sense for a WoW announcement to not be followed by a WoW expansion details during the next Blizzcon ( in this case 2019 Blizzcon is the "next" blizzcon). If we treat the diablo immortal as a main blizzard game like the rest of them especially when it was the main Diablo theme last year then it would be highly possible to see not only an actual release of Diablo immortal right after D4 announcement but ALSO what the future holds for Diablo Immortal as well. 1) Diablo 4 announcement + Diablo Immortal release.
